A co-working space with a twist! Specifically for women, Sass Place offers co-working and office space for women in business & runs a daily morning creche.

Indy Hilditch and Carly Thompson-Barry, the duo behind The Sass (a networking and support group for women in business) are in the process of finalising plans to set up a co-working space in Thebarton that includes an on-site creche. Mums with preschoolers, toddlers and babes who also have businesses will soon be able to get out of the house, put the brakes on the stress of trying to get work done at home and go to work in an environment that nurtures creativity, collaboration and a real sense of community.
Sass Place will be launching in the next few months and with affordable membership plans, you'll be able to work in peace while your children are minded by qualified child care workers in a Montessori style creche.
But the girls need some help in getting the current property up to scratch and have launched a crowdfunding campaign over at www.pozible.com/sassplace If you have a business, there are corporate sponsorship packages and time in the office available as part of your pledge - or you might just like to donate because you think this idea is LONG overdue.
